While all new, this building was inspired by 18th century school house architecture and classic timber frame construction. However this house is also thoroughly modern in its use of structural insulated panels, insulated concrete forms and radiant floor heating. Scaled to look like a one story colonial school house from the road, the house reveals its full three story height at the back.
